Interferencias: Substances in amounts normally found in potable water will likely not interfere. Bromide, iodidie and cyanide register as equivalent chloride concentrations. Sulfide, thiosulfate and sulfite interfere but can be removed by treatment with hydrogen peroxide. Orthophosphate > 25 mg/L interferes by precipitating as silver phosphate. Iron > 10 mg/L interferes. Large amounts of colour and turbidity interfere. Fats, oil, proteins, surfactants and tar.
